The British University Athletics Championships were held in Bedford over the recent May Day Bank Holiday weekend.

Athletes from Kingston upon Hull Athletic Club were competitors in the Championships and 3 of our athletes reached event finals.

Maegan Taylor was a member of the Loughborough Students senior womens 4 x 100 metres Relay Gold Medal winning Quartet.

Megan Hoult reached the final of the senior womens 100 metres. She finished in 7^th place with a season best time of 12.28s.Megan was representing Hull University.

Luke Giblin reached the finals of both the 100 and 200 metres for senior men.

In the 100 metres Luke finished in 5^th place recording a seasons best time of 10.78s. The race was won by the new star of British sprinting Adam Gemili.

In the 200 metres Luke finished 8^th in a time of 22.34s.He was representing Hull University.
