40th Humberside Cross Country Championships

Weelsby Woods, Grimsby – Sunday 4th January 2015

Gregan Clarkson was one of twenty two athletes who travelled over to Grimsby on Sunday 4th January2015, to don the blue and gold vest of Kingston upon Hull Athletic Club and compete at the 40th Humberside Cross Country Championships, which were being held at Weelsby Woods.

He is no stranger to these championships, he was the runner-up in 2014 and has finished 3rd on three occasions. He is a consummate competitor who loves to run and he never gives anything less than his very best in whatever he does. He lined up with another 82 athletes, to contest the 2015 race, which covered 9300 metres in Weelsby Woods.

Gregan was the winner of the race, completing the course in a time of 29:38s he finished 28 seconds ahead of the 2nd placed finisher.

This is his first victory in these championships and it follows on from his achievements at Solihull in late November of 2014 where he was crowned the British Biathlon Champion.
