Open Results – Under 11’s and Under13’s

70 metres hurdles – under 13 girls

The reigning Humberside County Champion Ciara Andrews made a winning start to the new track season with another victory over the hurdles and another new PB of 12.4s. The bronze medal went to Katie Smith whose time of 12.8s was a new PB for her. Emily Dye also set a new PB of 13.0s to take 5th place. Gina De Lancey ran a season’s best time of 13.7s in 6th place. Lauren McClean was 7th, Sophie McIntyre 8th and Holly Adams 10th with all 3 girls registering new PB’s.

75 metres hurdles – under 13 boys

Henry Cannell made his first appearance of 2015 and collected a silver medal and a new PB of 14.6s over the hurdles. Daniel Chadwick who put in some impressive cross country performances during the winter took 4th place and set himself a new PB of 17.3s.

80 metres race – under 13 girls

Katie Smith collected her second bronze medal of the day and also set a new PB of 12.3s. Gina De Lancey finished 4th in a season’s best time of 12.6s. Sophie Reed also ran 12.6s which was a new PB for her. Ciara Andrews and Faye Oliver finished 6th and 7th in 12.8s.

80 metres race – under 13 boys

Ben Stutely who is also a fine pole vaulter and long jumper was the race winner in a season’s best time of 12.3s. Connor Pickering one of our most promising young talents took the bronze medal with a season’s best run of 13.0s. One of our newest recruits Finlay Parker finished in 5th place in 13.2s and Theo Dabbs 7th, also in 13.2s.

80 metres race – under 11 girls

Charlotte Gray finished in 5th place in 14.1s and Tonisha Pickering 8th in 14.4s.

 

80 metres race – under 11 boys

James Iverson was the gold medallist and he ran the race in a season’s best time of 14.1s.

150 metres race – under 13 girls

Katie Smith collected her 3rd medal of the day, this time a silver one and also set a new PB of 24.3s. Evie Watson took 4th place and she also ran a new PB of 24.7s. Alanah Thoresby finished in 5th place and Emily Dye 6th with both girls running a season’s best time of 24.9s.

150 metres race – under 13 boys

Another new face at the club Daniel Heald was the bronze medallist in the race and he set himself a new PB of 24.2s. Theo Dabbs finished 5th in 25.1s and Fabian Vidal a young man working his way back to full fitness after an injury plagued winter, ran a season’s best of 27.8s for a 10th place finish.

150 metres race – under 11 girls

Charlotte Gray finished in 5th position in the race and recorded a time of 27.9s.

150 metres race – under 11 boys

Tom Iverson was the gold medal winner and his recorded time was 25.0s and his brother Harry Iverson took the bronze medal in 26.0s. The 3rd member of the triplets James had earlier won gold in the 80 metres.

600 metres – under 11 girls

Charlotte Gray was back in action again and she picked up a 6th place finish and a new PB of 2:31.1s.

600 metres – under 11 boys

Tom Iverson returned to the track and collected another victory and another gold medal, plus a new PB of 1:58.3s.

 800 metres – under 13 girl

Ella Draper the silver medallist at the 2014 Humberside County Championships was the dominant force in the race. She won a well deserved gold medal and set a good time of 2:41.4s. Katy McCabe was making her debut in the Kingston vest and she was the bronze medallist in a time of 2:59.8s, which was a new PB for her. Another debutant on the track was Emilia Russell who took 4th place and set a time of 3.03.6s. Niamh Derbyshire finished in 6th place and she set a new PB 3:09.3s. A further 3 girls made their track debuts, Evie Newton (7th), Mia Brocklehurst (10th) and Esther Savage (12th)

800 metres – under 13 boys

Rob Smith was the bronze medal winner and he ran a season’s best time of 3:09.0s.

1200 metres – under 13 girls

Evie Watson ran a new PB of 4:49.0s to win the silver medal in what was her first 1200 metres race.

1500 metres – under 13 boys

Daniel Heald went one better than his bronze in the 150 metres when taking 2nd place and the silver medal and also setting a new PB of 5:28.9s. Daniel Chadwick finished the race in 4th position and set a new PB of 5:35.5s.

High Jump – under 13 girls

Lauren McClean was competing in her first outdoor high jump event, she won the silver medal, clearing a height of 1.15m.

Long Jump – under 13 girls

Evie Watson jumped a new PB of 3.91m to take the gold medal in the long jump competition, Emily Dye won the silver medal with the same distance and Sophie Reed collected the bronze with a new PB of 3.57m.

 Long Jump – under 13 boys

Ben Stutely set a new PB of 4.36m to take his second medal of the day, this time it was silver. Connor Pickering picked up a 4th place finish with a new PB of 3.97m and Fabian Vidal 5th with a season’s best of 3.60.

Long Jump – under 11 girls

Tonisha Pickering produced a personal best performance of 3.04m to win the gold medal.

Long Jump – under 11 boys

Harry Iverson collected a bronze medal with a jump of 2.94m and his brother James Iverson 5th place with 2.85m. Alex Chivers, James Abbots and Robert Dye also played their part in what was a closely fought contest.

Shot Putt – under 13 girls

Faye Oliver was the shot gold medallist and registered a new PB of 7.06m. Hollie Young finished in 4th place and she too threw a new PB of 5.72m.

Shot Putt – under 13 boys

Ben Copley showed that all his work during the winter with our throws coach Dave Bennett had been time well spent. Ben won the gold medal and put a full metre onto his personal best, which now stands at 8.31m.The silver medal went to Connor Pickering who also registered a new PB of 5.97m.

Javelin Throw – under 13 girls

Ciara Andrews was the winner of the gold medal with a season’s best effort of 15.49m. Sophie Reed claimed the silver with a throw of 14.05, which was a new PB for her. Jessica Townsend also threw a new PB of 11.73m to take the bronze medal.

Javelin Throw – under 13 boys

Ben Copley collected another gold medal and registered another PB with an excellent throw of 31.46m. Rob Smith won his second bronze medal of the day with a throw of 14.89m, which was a new PB for him.
