UK Youth Development League – Northern Premier League 2
Keepmoat Stadium, Doncaster – Saturday 30th May 2015
This was the second outing of the season for our junior team and we had a good turnout of athletes for the relatively short journey to Doncaster’s Keepmoat Stadium.
Our opposition came from teams representing the following clubs and districts:- Leeds City – Chesterfield – Carlisle(Team Cumbria) – Doncaster and Gateshead.
The bulk of our junior squad have been together now for quite some time and they have bonded and have a strong team ethic and our cause is also helped by the many parents who are an essential support team for the young athletes.
As usual we had a number of outstanding personal performances from athletes in all track and field disciplines, which helped us to a first league victory of the new season.
