Humberside Schools Championships

Costello Stadium, Hull – Saturday 13th June 2015

These Championships are for athletes who are in full time education in either Kingston upon Hull, the East Riding of Yorkshire, and North and North East Lincolnshire. The age ranges covered are under 15, under 17 and under 20, that is everyone at either High School or 6th Form.

One of the selection criteria, in order to be chosen to represent the athletics area of Humberside at the English Schools Championships, at Gateshead in July is to compete at this meeting.

We suffered awful weather conditions, heavy rain poured from the heavens for almost the entire day, leaving the outfield sodden and muddy. It was a nightmare for the athletes as they struggled to keep warm between events and keep their clothing and equipment dry.
