UK Youth Development League – Premier Division East
Under 13’s & Under 15’s – Match One
Saturday 27th April – Costello Stadium Hull
The Kingston junior team’s opening fixture, of the 2019 track & field season, was staged at the Costello stadium, on Saturday the 27th of April. It was a cold and rainy day, with a strong gusting wind. Spectators, officials, parents and athletes alike, all struggled, trying to keep warm, throughout the day. 2018 had seen the team gain promotion, to Premier Division east. The team manager, needed a strong turnout of athletes, to be able to compete, on level terms in the premier division. Unfortunately, a significant number of athletes, and their parents, failed to turn up for the match. The athletes that competed, in the fixture, all gave a 100% effort and were a credit to the club, and their families.
The other clubs competing with Kingston were, Gateshead Harriers & AC, Hallamshire Harriers & AC, Harrogate Harriers & AC, Leeds City AC, and Rotherham Harriers & AC.
