Northern Athletics Indoor ‘Open’ Meeting

E.I.S. Stadium, Sheffield

Saturday 8^th November 2014

A number of our junior and youth athletes made the journey to Sheffield on Saturday 8^th of November, to compete in the Northern Athletics indoor ‘Open’ meeting which was held at the E.I.S. stadium.

There were some superb performances on the day which saw the athletes achieve a host of personal bests and season’s best efforts.

Details of the performances are as follows:-

600 metres race – Under 15 boys

Elliot Lawrence finished in 3^rd place in the race and he set a new PB of1:56.97s

Long Jump – under 15 boys

Elliot Lawrence competed in the event and he achieved a distance of 3.52m.

60 metres race – under 17 men

Brett Dorley took 2^nd place in the race and also set a new PB of 7.76s.

60 metres race – under 20 men

Matthew Elvidge finished in 7th place in the race and he ran a season’s best time of 7.96s.

150 metres race – under 20 men

Matthew Elvidge finished in 5^th place and ran another season’s best of 18.46s.

 600 metres race – under 15 girls

Lucy Savery took 4^th place in the race and she ran a new PB of 2:02.82s.

Jodie Martin was in 5^th place and she too set a new PB of 2:03.27s

Holly Lawrence finished in 7^th place and she also set a new PB of 2:22.17s
