The Scunthorpe and District Athletic Club held the first meeting on their newly re-laid track at Quibell Park on Sunday 22nd March. It provided Kingston’s athletes an opportunity for a first outdoor outing of 2015 and a fair number of them made the journey over the Humber Bridge to compete at the meeting.

Asher Gammon made his outdoor debut for the club, running in both the 80 metres and the 150 metres sprint races. He finished in 2nd place in each of the races and set new PB’s in both, clocking 9.6s in the 80 and 17.9 in the 150.

Five of our ladies competed in both the 80 and 150 metres women’s races, which saw a club 1 – 2 – 3 in both events.
