Sale Harrier’s Indoor Open Series

15 year old Kyle Foster has been with Kingston for 14 months, making his club debut at the Northern Indoor Championships at Sheffield on the 1st of February 2015, where he ran in the heat’s of the 200 metres. He is a member of the Kingston youth team and represented them in the UK Youth Development League matches during the 2015 track & field season. He also represented the County last season in the regional final of the English Schools Athletics Association cup competition, at the Gateshead International Stadium, where he saw action in the 800 metres race and in the triple jump event. He is a promising young middle distance runner and has been putting in long hours of conditioning and fitness training, in preparation for the start of the new track & field season.
He travelled over the Pennines to the excellent facility that is Sport City in Manchester, the home track of Sale Harrier’s, for the last of their winter series of indoor open meetings. This was Kyle’s third run out of 2016, and he ran in the 600 metres race at the Sport City Stadium, where he took 3rd place in a good competitive race and also posted a new PB of 1:31.44s.
