PhD Researcher - Athletes Needed

Thomas Burrell, a PhD researcher at the University of Hull is investigating inhaler usage among athletes. As part of the research, they are offering lung function assessments to eligible athletes to assess their lung performance, asthma management and help screen athletes who experience symptoms related to asthma. In addition, they have a survey for those who use inhalers to help them quantify carbon footprint of inhaler treatment in athletes. 

Participant eligability:

Athletes aged 16 years and older.

A diagnosis of asthma or diagnosed with exercise-induced bronchoconstriction.

Or, experience of related symptoms - which include wheezing, chest tightness, coughing, shortness of breath most likely after exercise without a diagnosis.
